I love this place! Their Sweet and Sour Chicken is the best I have ever tasted. It's always moist and delicious. Their Pepper Steak can be a little salty, but nothing mixing some rice in can't fix. Also, their egg rolls are to die for! Oh, and their cheap, quick and friendly! I order at least weekly from them.

Bleh, mediocre food at a surprisingly pricey price. They do not understand the word "spicy," no matter how much I emphasize it the food is always bland. Don't go here unless you have no other options or you're fine with sub par chinese!

Not the best carryout ever, but not the worse either. The service is really quick and the prices are reasonable. It's also one of the few, if not the only, carryout place in Takoma Park that's open after hours.

this is my go-to for fried chicken wings and mumbo sauce! I don't order the chinese much at all so I can't comment.

We just ordered the orange chicken, steamed dumplings and string beans. The food is very good for carry out and we almost always get the chicken wings with mombo sauce.

Disgusting! But what do you expect from a carryout place. The service was good, quick, but the food was gross. The chix fried rice looked like dog meat, the chicken/broc looked like someone threw up and the shrimp with black beans looked and tasted disgusting. The same sauce for the shrimp was the same as the chix/broc dish, which doesn't make any damn sense. AVOID! The only reason we went was because we had limited option during the winter blizzard.

The quality of our food yesterday was a real improvement to past pickups. Each of our items was tasty and well cooked. We got three combos mongolian beef (lots and lots of onions and little beef but the beef was very good), general tsos chicken (good), and beef with broccoli (they got this wrong in the bag - we got happy family by mistake which was really good) . We also got one order of bourbon chicken for the kids which had almost no sauce but the kids enjoyed so that's good. Lots of egg rolls in the bag. I think they give free ones for larger orders. The order was a pleasant surprise since we've had some orders that weren't great in the past. Best piece of advice - avoid items that could have a lot of filler (like celery or onion) because they do.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
